What You’ll Find
What can you expect to find at Illinois Car Show? You may be thinking, “That’s a stupid question, CARS.” While that is true, we are not just talking any car. You aren’t going to find too many stock 2005 Honda Civics.
These shows present cars worth staring at, the majority of the shows present pre-1970’s classic cars and hot rods. These are cars with hundreds of hours of labor, pristine paint jobs and ground shaking raw power.
Then there are show cars. These are cars that have been rebuilt, sometimes built of a combination of two or more different cars with the purpose of showing them off at exhibitions. A 20,000 dollar paint job is common, many times with complex airbrush murals on one or more sides. Yes, these show cars are a site to see.
Classic Cars Not Your Thing?
Alright maybe your not that in to the classics and show cars, maybe you are more of bike guys. Harleys, Street bikes and custom builds. If that is the case don’t worry, there is certainly a fair share of bike shows with in the state of Illinois.
